What courses do you tutor?

I specialize in high school precalculus. I’ve also worked with younger students (as early as Grade 6), first-year university students (depending on the course outline), and adults who are upgrading their math skills.

Do you offer in-person lessons?

I have limited openings for students who would like to come to my location near Lougheed Mall in Burnaby.

Do you offer online lessons?

Most of my students work with me online. I use tools that make it easy for us to share and see each other’s work in real time, so students can show their thinking and get feedback right away. It works smoothly for most learners.

What is your availability?

During the school year, I am available Sunday–Thursday. During school holidays, I am available Monday–Thursday.

Do you offer group lessons?

What is the cost of tutoring?

One-to-one lessons are $100 per hour. Shared lessons (two students) are $120 per hour. See https://claratong.com/group-lessons/ for more group options.

How do we get started?
